Better

Mark was a good caregiver and I'm back up to normal, whatever that is to be. The pain is gone and I'm back to just the arms being a pain, but that's better than what I was dealing with the last couple days.

Today is WM grocery pick up day and groomer day for Lola. The last cut she got was not as short as it should have been. So she has been quite uncomfortable in the heat we have. An english cocker spaniel has several layers of fur, much like a collie, so it's very heavy when longer. Today her usual groomer is back so she will get her short cut and feel so much better. She has been laying next to the floor vent to get the cool a/c air. Poor baby.

This weekend the heat was nasty but we are back down to the lower 100's for now. July is usually quite hot so it's not like it was something new. Just not what anyone really likes. No matter where you live there is no ideal weather on a daily basis. So you just have to go with the flow and grin and bear it.

Some businesses are closing once again due to the increase in COVID cases. They are expected it to get higher as the fourth of July cases are just starting to come into play. It's been 4 months that we have stayed sheltered and masked up. It's beginning to feel like this will be the new way of life for many many more months. Businesses are beginning to worry about the lack of snowbirds here this winter. There is talk of schools not opening until Oct. Many parents are looking into online learning which has been growing in popularity for some time now. I know that is what I would choose for my child's safety.
