Monday I met with the doctor and he has referred me to a rheumatologist. The soonest I can meet with him is June 10th. With all the retired people living here two such doctors can’t keep up with the case loads. I’m sure that is why they are sooooo busy. My PCP did renew my heart pills and gave me 15 pain pills for nights that I need them to sleep. The pain pills are an opioid so he couldn’t give me more than that. It will help, I hope, until I see the specialist. Dr Baig thought maybe I have fibromyalgia but I have no other symptoms other than sore muscle and joint in my arms. I refused taking the pills he wanted to give me. I don’t trust any pills that I have not researched. And he said that if I did that I would not take the pills. So that tells me I made the right decision. The side effects on those pills are really bad. I forget the name right now.
This morning I signed us up for our second COVID shot. I pray we get no side effects. The first one was a walk in the park.
